Rain for days
The sky may be blue and the sun may be blazing
What I’m saying is true even though it sounds amazing
when me and my baby get together
seems like there’s always a change in the weather...
When me and my baby go out
the wind starts to blow in from the sea
clouds roll in and the sky gets dark and leaves start to tremble in the
trees
thunder cracks over the mountain and cool water falls from up above
got to be a reason cuz it’s not the rainy season
must be something to do with our love
well you can tell by the way we walk
see our footprints smoke in the sand
flicker of flame when I speak his name sparks fly when he touch my hand
we got a love like a white hot fire
filled with such burning desire
heaven knows this world can’t take the heat
so she sends a little rain when we go out on the street
Let it rain for days
don’t go away
tell me that you love me and that you’re gonna stay
let the rain fill the rivers from the mountain to the sea
and let me love you like the pouring rain
